🍳 When You Don’t Love Eggs… But Everyone Else Does

Featuring the Ceramic Egg Cooker

Recipe credit: Pampered Chef (because I’m not pretending I made this one up)

Look, I’m not exactly the president of the egg fan club. In fact, if they ever make an anti-egg anonymous group, I might be tempted to show up with coffee and a support sign. BUT—I know I’m in the minority here. So in the spirit of giving the people what they want (and showing off one of my favorite time-saving tools), here’s an eggy little number that comes together in three minutes flat and doesn’t dirty up a pan. 🙌

We’re talking about the Ceramic Egg Cooker, aka your breakfast BFF. This little wonder makes mornings easier, whether you're scrambling to get the kids fed or just need protein without a production.

🥄 The “How To” for the Egg-Inclined

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs (or 4 egg whites if you're being fancy)

  • 2 tbsp milk or water

  • â…› tsp salt

  • ÂĽ cup of your favorite stir-ins (leftover veggies, pre-cooked meat, whatever’s on its last leg in the fridge)

  • 1 tbsp grated cheese (dealer’s choice)

Directions:

  1. Crack the eggs into your Ceramic Egg Cooker (the star of the show).

  2. Add milk and salt. Put the lid on, cover the vent hole with your finger, and shake it like a Polaroid picture—about 10 shakes.

  3. Stir in your stir-ins. (Yeah, I know that sounds redundant. Blame the English language.)

  4. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Stir the sides and bottom. Keep microwaving in 20-second bursts until the eggs look less like soup and more like, well, eggs.

  5. Eat straight from the cooker or get fancy and pop it out onto a plate.

That’s it. No skillet. No judgment.

🧠 Sherbear Pro Tips (aka how to not mess it up):

  • Use pre-cooked stuff like bacon, sausage, broccoli, or last night’s leftover fajita veggies.

  • Raw quick-cook options like green onions or spinach work too—no one wants crunchy onions in their omelet unless they’re deeply unwell.

  • Want to make it bougie? Add goat cheese and sundried tomatoes. Want to make it lazy? Shredded cheddar and pre-cooked bacon bits work just fine.

🧂Nutrition (if you care):

Per omelet:
170 calories, 12g fat, 4.5g sat fat, 14g protein, 1g carb, and 490mg sodium.

Basically: high in protein, low in effort. My kind of breakfast (even if I’m having toast instead).

🧡 The Bottom Line

If you love eggs, this one’s a slam dunk. If you don’t… gift this Ceramic Egg Cooker to someone who does and earn brownie points with zero effort.
PS. I use it to make oatmeal a few times a week.
