How a Pizza Stone Became a Paycheck

Over 15 years ago (probably closer to 20 at this point), my sister-in-law had a Pampered Chef party at her house. I was dead broke, but if you’ve ever been to an in-person PC party, you know the goodies and gadgets are hard to resist. I could only afford to buy one thing—and since we ate a lot of frozen pizza at the time, I figured a pizza stone would scratch the “gotta have it” itch without my hubs giving me the stank eye for blowing our hard-earned cash on a gadget destined for the drawer of forgotten dreams.

As you can tell by its almost totally black color now, this stone has been WELL used and loved. I’ve cooked everything from pizza (duh) to ugly sweater Christmas cookies to chicken sammies on this bad boy—and it’s still one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my kitchen.

I’ve loved PC products since that day. Over the years I’ve hosted a few parties, attended even more, and steadily stocked my kitchen with goodies. So when I had the chance in March 2025 to join as a consultant (for free, I might add), I jumped at it. Not only does PC make amazing products that LAST (proof is in the picture!), but it’s just a good company to work with. And fun fact? I’ve already gotten two paychecks that covered my utility bills.

I may be slightly obsessed… but with good reason.
